Holiday Market @ Breitenbach Winery's Toolshed

  • The Tool Shed at Breitenbach Winery 5773 Old Route 39 Northwest Dover, OH, 44622 United States

The Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market will hold its first-ever Holiday Market on Tuesday, November 22nd from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Tool Shed at Breitenbach Winery in Dover. Come shop for produce for your Thanksgiving meal, purchase one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on your Christmas shopping list, attend cooking demos to inspire your meal plans, and enjoy the festive sounds of live Christmas music as you shop.

Shoppers can choose from a wide variety of locally grown produce to create the perfect Thanksgiving meal, including potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, kale, lettuce, cabbage, sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, squash, beef, chicken, pork, eggs, maple syrup, cookies, pies and pie crusts, bread, rolls, sweet breads, and more.

Local artists will also offer their products to help you get a jump start on your Christmas shopping. Shoppers will find greeting cards, wooden wares, quilts, ornaments, bird houses, wearables, soaps, shampoos, candles, photography, jewelry, pottery, wooden toys, and many more locally made items that will make perfect stocking stuffers for your loved ones. Additionally, the Dover High School Art Club will offer gift wrapping of your purchases for a freewill donation.

If you’re still figuring out what dishes to prepare, make plans to attend cooking demos by Hennis Care Centre Chef Matt Ridgway, who will use products available at the Holiday Market to create festive dishes to complement your Thanksgiving meal. Demos are scheduled for 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00.

As always, Bahler Street Pizza will be on site selling delicious pizzas, and customers can enjoy a glass of Breitenbach wine as they shop.

During the Holiday Market, shoppers will be serenaded by local musicians playing Christmas music. Sharon Gustkey will entertain shoppers from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., and local sister duo the Kodachrome Babies will play from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and will have copies of their brand-new Christmas album available for purchase.

Don’t hesitate to bring the kids along because the Tuscarawas County Public Library System will offer a make-and-take craft activity and will also have books available for checkout.
